Overview
Focus Demolition was contracted by CPB/BHP to complete the rail tunnel demolition project at Area C mine, located in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.
As with all demolition projects, the Area C demolition came with its own set of challenges, as the work had to be delivered within a live, operating mine site. Our experienced team efficiently mobilised with all necessary machinery to ensure the project was completed to the highest standards of workmanship while adhering to strict safety regulations.
Results
Despite the complexities of working within an active mine site, we completed the rail tunnel demolition on time and within budget, with minimal interruption to the existing mine site activities.
